The Boiling Minder - Eliminate Stove Top Boil Over!

If you're experience problems with the Boiling Minder, try some of these ideas to see if they help.
Problem	Solution
Won’t turn on.	Check batteries. Be sure to remove the plastic! Ensure batteries are inserted as shown in the diagram at the bottom of the battery compartment. Remove and reinsert the batteries. Replace batteries as needed. See the Battery page.
Timer has no display.	Check timer battery located behind the main batteries in the battery compartment. Be sure to remove the plastic tab. Replace battery as needed. See the Battery page.
Little or no air is blowing out of the nozzle.	Check as above “Won’t turn on.” Inspect the inlet grill on the bottom of the Boiling MinderTM. Clean if necessary Replace Batteries. See the Battery page.
Boil Over occurs on one side of the pot.	Point Boiling MinderTM tube nozzle just over the nearest edge of the pot. Be sure to start the Boiling Minder as soon as you put the food in the water.
Boiling Minder moves across or rotates on the counter while operating.	The Boiling MinderTM has rubber feet on the bottom of its base. Use a mild detergent and a soft sponge to lightly clean the feet to remove and grease or dust. Make sure the counter is free of grease or dust.
