The replacing batteries for your Boiling Minder

Preparing the 'C' cell batteries Preparing the Timer battery
Open the back cover
Open the Back Cover

Remove the large batteries
Remove the large batteries
Remove the top two 'C' batteries
Remove the large batteries
Remove the plastic from the 'C' Batteries
Remove the plastice from the 'C' Batteries
Remove the plastic tab.
The easiest way to do that is the grasp the
tab with your index finger and thumb,
and work it out careful not to
pull out the watch battery.

Replace the batteries following the
diagram in the back of the compartment.
Simply put the batteries back in and
point the negative end towards the spring.

Remove the large batteries

If the battery comes out, or you are replacing the battery make sure the ribbon is correct.

This is GOOD!

  This is BAD!
 

You can use a pen or something long and slim to push the ribbon into the bottom of the slot.

Push the ribbon side to side with the pen to ensure it is not covering the metal contacts.

Make sure the round side of the battery is towards the bottom of the Boiling Minder.

Replacing your batteries can be done with the following.

'C' Cell Alkaline for the Main Batteries.

The Watch Battery (button cell) can be replaced with any of the following:
Mainly look for an LR44 battery Replacement, but the following are specific numbers:
Energizer - A76
Duracell - LR44
Rayovac - RW82
Renata - LR44
Varta - V13GA
Timex - KA
Interstate - WAC5005
